Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka who was born in Minsk (the capital of Belarus), was the son of Sergey. Sergey was a professional hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born on 5 May 1998 in Minsk Belarus. She has won 12 WTA titles throughout her career. This includes her Grand Slam of 2023 Australian Open. Doubles is her forte She has won majors in her first major tournaments, the US Open (2019) and Australian Open (2021), both in partnership with Elisemertens. Then she also won the Sunshine Double in 2019, by winning in the WTA 1000 at Indian Wells, Miami and the Australian Open alongside Elise Mertens. Only four women's doubles teams achieve this feat. The singles world ranking climbed up to the top spot on the 20th of January, 2023. After winning the Melbourne doubles competition in February 2021, she was able rise up the rankings to take the first spot for this particular area. Dmitry Tursunov, a former Russian tennis star, played with her from through the season of 2018 until close of her 2020 campaign. Dieter Kindlmann was also her coach for short periods from August to September of 2020. Antonio Dubrov is her coach, and has been since the start of 2020. Serena Williams & Maria Sharapova have been her inspirations.
