Megan Anna Rapinoe born 5th July, 1985 in Redding California. She honed her soccer skills during her teenage year. Rachael is her twin sister with whom they attended University of Portland together. In 2016, she played in the Rio de Janeiro Olympics. The U.S. Team was defeated in Rio's quarterfinals. The debut of Rapinoe's FIFA Women's World Cup debut took place in 2011. In 2015 and 2019, her efforts have assisted the U.S. Women's World Cup winning team to win consecutive World Cups. She was named cocaptain in 2018. Rapinoe had the chance to score two goals as United States beat Australia 4-3 in the bronze medal game at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Japan had been delayed from the Olympics until 2021 due the COVID-19 Pandemic.
